How To Activate & Update ESET Nod32 Anti-Virus

Activating and Updating your Anti-Virus regularly is necessary to identify and protect your system against those thousands of new viruses/worms or malicious sites/links etc. that has been created or identified after the version of Anti-virus you are using was released. All this information is included in the Virus Signature Database that your Anti-virus needs to keep up-to-date. Here are few simple guidelines on Activating ESET Nod32 Anti-Virus and Updating it’s “virus signature database” Activating Anti-Virus Step 1: Open your ESET Nod32 Anti-Virus and click on Setup:   Step 2: Go to Product activation.. Step 3: Select Activate using a Username and Password and click Next: Step 4: Enter Username and Password and click Activate button. Step 5: Wait for a few seconds until ESET Nod32 verifies and activates your Anti-Virus. Step 6: Your ESET Nod32 Anti-Virus has been successfully activated now :) After activations just click on Finish button to get out of activation wizard. Updating Virus Signature Database Step 7: Now to Activate the Virus Signature Database, Go to Update and click on “Update now” button Step 8: Now wait and let it check for the latest update available. Step 9: After checking for the latest update, ESET Nod32 Anti-Virus will start updating the database, this may take a few minutes, depending on your connection speed, you can minimize the window while it’s updating the database, a Green spinning icon in the notification area shows that It’s updating.   Step 10: When update has completed a small notification balloon will appear on the bottom-right corner of the screen. As you can see the icon in the notification are has also changed. That’s It! you have Activated and updated your ESET Nod32 Anti-Virus successfully.

Activating Anti-Virus

Step 1:

Step 2:

Step 5:

Step 7:

Now to Activate the Virus Signature Database, Go to Update and click on “Update now” button
